OUDONISM is a bold interpretation of oud built around contrast: luminous, almost jewel-like fruit against a dark, resinous and leathery foundation. It opens with an unusually succulent combination of lychee purée, Sicilian almond and blackcurrant, sharpened by pink pepper and the bitter-green character of tagetes.
The heart transforms the initial sweetness into something considerably darker. Rose and saffron introduce a classic Middle Eastern reference, while styrax, elemi and prickly juniper create smoky, balsamic and subtly earthy textures.
As the fragrance develops, oud moves decisively to the center. Leather, cypriol, amber and benzoin surround it with dry woods, warm resins and an earthy smokiness, while musk adds depth and sensuality. Despite its substantial oud presence, the composition is designed to remain polished and controlled rather than aggressively barnyard or fecal.
