Amberwood opens with crisp bergamot and angelica seed, complemented by a touch of pink pepper for brightness. The heart transitions into rich woods and subtle tobacco, underpinned by patchouli and helvetolide for a textured woody-amber core. The dry-down reveals tonka bean, vanilla, orris, oud (agarwood), labdanum and musk resting on cashmere-wood for a warm, elegant amber trail.
Performance:
Projection is moderate to strong in the opening phase, due to the aromatic and woody top notes. As it evolves, the fragrance settles into a more intimate amber-woody trail. Longevity is robust, typical of high-end amber compositions — it holds well through the day and into the evening.
