Where the original EDP leads with lavender, clary sage and bitter almond, the Parfum strips those elements back and pushes deep into leather, amber and balsam. Leather and Aromatic Notes open with a dark, smooth and quietly smoky intensity that is immediately denser and more commanding than its predecessor. Tonka Bean and Amber build a warm, creamy and richly enveloping heart with a faintly caramelized depth. Balsamic Notes and Balsam Fir close with a resinous, gently piney and quietly smoky base that adds a cool, forested dimension that the EDP never reaches.
