A re-release of one of the most quietly revered entries in the Tom Ford Private Blend collection, originally launched in 2009 and now presented in a clear flacon. The most understated of the Tom Ford woody trio alongside Santal Blush and Ébène Fumé — less creamy than the former, less smoldering than the latter, but arguably the most compelling of the three for those who love raw cedarwood done with restraint. Pink Pepper, Black Pepper, Juniper and Bergamot open with a dry, spiced and slightly green brightness. Cedar and Woody Notes build a linear, clean and quietly medicinal cedar heart of real precision. Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vetiver close with a warm, earthy and quietly smoky base that anchors the composition with a natural, grounding depth.
Performance:
Moderate to good longevity with a close-to-skin, intimate projection. One of the quieter performers in the Tom Ford lineup — a skin scent that builds slowly rather than projecting loudly. Best applied to fabric and hair for extended wear.
