A distinctly lighter and more feminine interpretation of the iconic Black Orchid, centered on tuberose rather than the dark, animalic depth of the original EDP. Truffle, Ylang-Ylang, Black Currant and Bergamot open with the same opulent darkness that defines the Black Orchid family, but with a fresher and more luminous quality. Black Orchid, Tuberose and Fruity Notes build a lush, white floral heart that is softer, more radiant and considerably more wearable than its predecessor. Patchouli, Incense, Sandalwood, Vanilla, Vetiver and Lotus close with a warm, woody and quietly smoky base that maintains the Black Orchid character without its full animalic intensity.
Performance:
Moderate longevity with a softer, more intimate projection than the EDP — as expected from the lighter concentration. The sandalwood-patchouli base carries steadily for four to six hours. Performance improves on fabric.
